Do you ever have a morning where you are just looking for something different? Maybe you want to dress up a little. Maybe you want to impress friends from out of town. Maybe you want to walk into a place and feel like you stepped into another city – maybe Paris or Florence, or just anywhere outside of the Midwest. Well if that is what you have in mind, give Parigi a try for brunch. The prices are higher for this area, the clientele is more upscale and the menu might take you outside your comfort zone. If you’re looking for a traditional American bacon and eggs breakfast, you might want to wait another day before trying Parigi.

Let’s take a moment to talk about the bacon – hands down the best thick cut, just the right amount of salty, slab of bacon in the city. On to a few other dishes we tried. The Mushroom and Pecorino Omelette was very flavorful and served with a delicious side of potatoes. The Biscuits & Lamb Gravy was also a hit, serving up one of our favorite dishes but with a twist. We very much enjoyed our elegant brunch sipping mimosas and devoured every delicious morsel on our plate, the food was that good. We will certainly go back and look forward to try a few other dishes that peaked our interest. As mentioned above the price is a little higher for St. Louis, but then again, as we mentioned, this is for that day you are looking for something different.
