Reeds American Table
Reeds American Table is a welcome addition to the brunch scene in St. Louis. Having heard a lot of buzz about their dinners, we were excited to learn that they are now serving up a Saturday and Sunday Brunch, and even opening their doors at 10am. As if that wasn’t enough, you can look forward to the option of Bottomless Mimosas and a unique seasonal menu – yum!
To try this one out I invited some girlfriends to meet me at Reeds. We did have a slight wait, as it seemed busier earlier in the morning, and while they don’t take reservations we found out upon arrival that they are part of the No Wait App game. The table ordered a variety of dishes so we could showcase some variety. The Buckwheat Waffles served up dynamic flavors with each bite and was presented beautifully. The Poached Eggs resembled a hash with eggs on top of a vegetable medley. And from the top of the menu we had a sampling of items – including the Quiche (think appetizer size pastry), Ham & Cheese Croissant (a magical buttery croissant) and the Miller’s Wheat Toast with pumpkin butter. Rarely do I have toast envy, but the bread looked amazing and will definitely be the first thing I order next time… alongside the fresh-squeezed Mimosa as well.
For those in the St. Louis brunch scene, Reeds is a must try! Enough variety to give everyone at the table an option, and unique dishes enticing diners to come back again. We enjoyed the trendy atmosphere with thick wood tables, graffiti wall, chalkboard art board, bar seats and even a few window bar height seats. We will be back again soon.
