For us the search for the best Sunday Brunch in STL started as a way to alleviate post-vacation blues. We wanted to create something that we would look forward to when at home, so the rule became – Every weekend we are home we treat ourselves to brunch. It is a fun way to check out great restaurants and you can’t beat a leisurely morning sipping a mimosa. Some have date night… we have Sunday Brunch.
The ultimate brunch is sitting on the patio outside of Scape enjoying the most amazing Fresh Lemon Curd Pancakes, a side of their homemade Chicken Sausage and a glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice. The pancakes just don’t get any better than this – the perfect combination of sweetness is mixed in with the lemon so you don’t even need syrup.
A mid-morning retreat to Russell’s On Macklind for their Sunday Quiche Of The Day (it is always paired with a niced mixed greens salad) and a fresh-brewed Latte. The atmosphere is so low-key and the quiche while a surprise until you get there never disappoints.
